As a parent, I understand how important your child’s education is to you and would like to invite you to become more involved in school life. There are a number of ways in which you can do this.
As the Headteacher it is important for me to have a clear picture of how you view the school so that we can work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for your children. Therefore, as part of our self-evaluation process I would like to regularly collect your views. I would very much appreciate you taking the time to complete the questionnaire and return it to school. You can see the outcomes of our Parent Voice here.
Since starting at Whittlefield in April 2015 I have established a forum made up of parents from across school. The purpose of holding a Parent Forum is to involve parents in the developments within school, giving them a voice, in order for them to contribute to school improvements. I share such things as new policies, curriculum developments etc. and ask for your views on our progress. The forum meets once each term. If you are interested in joining our forum please pop in and see me or give the office a ring.
I am absolutely delighted that we have a PTFA at Whittlefield. Be sure to check out what they are up to here.
