Supporting Dementia
Whittlefield Primary have become dementia friends with Ashmede Care Home on Padiham Rd, Burnley. We have plans to take groups of children to participate in activities which have been planned by the staff at the home. Our first activities include singing together and floor games! Our children are so excited to make friends and take part in all the activities!
Our 'Dementia Friends' went to visit the local nursing home. They did some Christmas crafts together and had a lovely time.
Beach Day
