As part of our music curriculum, we had a Chinese drumming session come into school. The children learnt all about different Chinese instruments and then learnt to play a Chinese drum. The children played a tune called ‘The Waking of the Dragon,’ which starts slowly and then increases in tempo as the dragon awakes.
