A message from our Headteacher

Welcome to Whittlefield Primary School

At Whittlefield School we strive to provide the best possible education for the children in our care recognising their unique gifts and personalities and seeking to promote excellence in both behaviour and learning.

Learning is the principle reason for Whittlefield Primary School’s existence; it is at the heart of everything we do. It is an activity which involves and is participated in by everyone. At our school we believe learning is only part of the development and therefore we are committed to the achievements of the whole child.

Our free communication app allows us to provide parents with instant access to our important messages and up to date school information.

Please contact the school office if you have not received your personal invite.

Our ‘National Nurture Mark’

In March, we were presented with the ‘National School’s Nurturing Mark,’ which recognises the work our school does in regards to enabling children to reach their potential by allowing to work in a supporting and nurturing environment.  The nurturing approach that we use allows children to engage with missing early nurturing experiences, giving them the social and emotional skills to do well at school and with peers, develop their resilience and their capacity to deal more confidently with the trials and tribulations of life, for life. The concept of nurture is embedded within everything we do at Whittlefield from the staff, to the parents, pupils, governors and our local community.

The Whittlefield Family

We are the Whittlefield family and we are committed to making an everlasting difference to everyone we meet by believing that anything is possible and the sky is the limit.
