Spring 2

English:

This half term our story we are focusing on is The Tale of Peter Rabbit. We are learning all about Peter and his friends and the children are really enjoying it so far. We are having a big focus this half term on our writing. We are trying very hard to ensure to write on the line, add full stops, capital letters and finger spaces.

Maths:

In maths we are looking at place value. We are focasing on numbers 20-50, practicing writing and reading these numbers. 

History:

Our history topic this half term is past and present. We are looking at the toys we have now in comparison to toys from years ago. The children are loving this topic as they love to share all about the toys they are passionate about. 

Science:

In science we are looking at plants, we are really starting to see a change in the plants from last half term to now as we go into Spring. We have planted our own sunflowers which we are also going to observe through the term.
